The band came into existence when guitarists Richard Wiberg and Joakim Karlberg developed a sound that found a perfect
balance between harmony, rhythm and groove.
Soon after they released their first EP, Artifacts.
The band found the perfect, settled group with Oskar Nilsson coming in on drums, Timmy Bartelius on vocals, and Fredrik Dirfors on bass.
Devation signed with Shunu Records in 2015.
